This massive stone grain mill, erected at the beginning of the nineteenth century, was a focal point for agriculture-related industry and trade in the early history of Brush Valley. For the entire nineteenth century, a millrace supplied waterpower to the wheel located under an archway. Now, the fieldstone structure, bracketed at the corners by stone quoins, is crumbling away. The nearby house complements the mill in its stonework, featuring courses of larger stones for the window lintels and sills. Nine-over-six sash windows and a transomed, paneled entrance door contribute to the balanced facade.
