Built by a Norwegian American dairy farmer and influenced by nationally popular designs, the eighty-foot-diameter Myhre round bank barn has a concrete foundation that is lined with rubble stone. The barn has a conical roof with small square windows set just below the eaves. The interior is arranged with rectilinear rows of stalls along two alleys, served by a metal feeding track and carrier. Unlike many other round barns, this one lacks an interior silo. A timber-framed exterior ramp affords access to a set of vertical-board sliding doors.
