This Italianate church was built on the foundations of its late eighteenth-century predecessor, which had burned. Despite later additions that have cluttered the exterior, the main body of the wood-frame church is still visible. A projecting western tower and steeple are joined to a rectangular nave with bracketed cornices. The church is named for Anne Nimmo, who deeded the property to the church in 1791.
