Quaintly “Hansel and Gretel” Gothic with its twin towers and elaborate window moldings, this church began as a simple rectangular box. A post–Civil War remodeling gave it the odd Gothic imagery of the tower, pinnacles, and windows. The interior has been refurbished several times.
