The boxy, twelve-story office building was remodeled into one of the most austere examples of curtain-walled International Style in the state. It housed Wilmington Trust and, later, 600 DuPont employees. The latter firm sold it in 1995 to a nonprofit organization, which renovated it as general headquarters for many local nonprofit groups. Today it is occupied by seventy-four such organizations, making it the largest building in the nation entirely devoted to nonprofits.
