The Joseph Miller True-Round Barn, designed and built during 1918–1920 by John Schrader, is found just west of the small village of Hills. The walls of the barn are sheathed in board-and-batten and its double-pitched gambrel roof has wood shingles. A metal aerator is at the peak of the roof. Because of the slope of the land, a lower level opening out on ground level has been provided. Within the barn, at its center, is a terracotta tile silo. The diameter of the barn is 60 feet; that of the silo, 10 feet. The barn can be reached by traveling .3 miles north of Hills on the frontage road parallel to the east side of US 218; turn left (west) on F62, proceed 4.2 miles.
