The massive Colonial Revival design of this two-story three-bay house is made to look even weightier by its construction materials of rock-faced limestone. The wide one-bay central portico with giant, paired Corinthian columns and a broken pediment is continued as a one-story porch across the right side of the facade. The three-part windows of the first story are set in an arched opening and the arched entrances of the first and second stories have sidelights and transoms. In the side yard is a two-car limestone garage with quarters above for servants.
