Few roadhouses of the 1930s have survived intact, and probably no others have a large stuccoed masonry coffee pot perched on the roof. Originally steam came out of its spout on cold nights. The one-story structure built of vertically laid logs has an appropriately rustic interior, including a stone chimneypiece. While typical of an earlier era, the Coffee Pot continues to thrive.
