The fourth church for this parish was the last colonial-era church, built around 1723 and destroyed sometime after disestablishment. Its site lies across Virginia 10 from the present church, an Italianate structure of brick with scored stucco, designed by a Baltimore firm. A tower with a pyramidal roof adds an appropriate picturesque touch. Several of the windows are attributed to Tiffany Studios. Some original elements, such as the roof trusses, remain, but a 1960s renovation removed a great deal of the early fabric.
