The new town houses on this site replaced a gas station. The buildings were loosely modeled on the Adams Double House at 2501–2503 East Grace Street (
RI77
). The repetition of the two-bay rhythm and textural pattern of the brickwork give this group a unity unusual for Church Hill and for Richmond.
