A product of the second “great awakening” of the mid-nineteenth century, this spartan Greek Revival brick box lacks a full portico. The church is quietly elegant with its twin doors and simple wooden entablature. The interior has a rear balcony and twin aisles leading to a raised dais that is a product of a 1960s renovation. The major feature of the interior is the bright luminosity provided by the large windows on three sides.
