Advertised by George F. Barber as “an artistic Colonial home,” this house was published as Modern Dwellings Design No. 2 and Cottage Souvenir Design No. 149. The two-story picturesque frame house has one-story wraparound porches on paired columns, an octagonal corner tower with a polygonal spire, and large gambrel-roofed dormers. Delicate ornament includes paneling, swags, and small arched windows around the top story of the tower.
