The two-story buff brick library, now operated as a museum, is Beaux-Arts in style with the formal architectural details commonly found in the Carnegie-sponsored institutions. The entrance front is divided into three large bays, the central of which is framed by giant order Ionic columns and brick piers. These support architrave blocks with medallions and a broken pediment. The central double door is flanked by slender Ionic columns and surmounted by a pediment. The building is finished with an entablature and a classical balustrade.
