Opposite the Walter Allen House is the John Osborne House, built by Walter Allen's son-in-law. It reflects the older tradition of center chimney and boxed-out six-over-six windows. Its projecting weather porch is certainly later, its door either much remodeled or possibly Neo-Federal.
