Built for Saginaw businessman Martin P. Gale, this house is a square symmetrical Prairie Style building in brown brick and shingles. It was designed by Saginaw architect Beckbissinger (1871–1963), who developed proficiency in the Prairie Style. Horizontally and symmetrically massed with an ample roof overhang, the house is a fine example of the twentieth-century architecture found in this still attractive postfire neighborhood. Nearby on Holland Court are several other Beckbissinger Prairie Style houses.
