Constructed as the Ejay Theater in 1927 and later named the Delft, the theater now accommodates live performances and assemblies. The Crystal Falls Arts Association, businesses, and city planners are spearheading restoration as part of a larger revitalization of Superior Avenue. A State of Michigan Equity grant funded part of the work. Prairie for January–March 2007 notes that the red brick theater is clothed in the Prairie Style outside with Art Deco decoration inside.
