This one-story schoolhouse, built for $884, doubled as the Florissant Grange Hall. The frame L-plan structure has pedimented window moldings and the original school bell. Inside are the original wain-scoting, teacher's desk, piano, and students' desks. Also on the property are a teacher's residence, two outhouses, the foundation of an early post office, and a small, gable-roofed building that was the school cafeteria.
