1911. 1 block south of Moffat Way

The two-story, cast stone First Baptist Church has a roof covered in scalloped metal panels. Small Palladian windows in the north and south gable ends have round-arched, stained glass transoms in the center and stained glass panes on the sides. The double-hung windows below have matching stained glass. A steeple with a double flared cap serves as an unusual top for the corner bell tower, with the entrance in the base. Like the gable ends above the eaves, it is covered in silverpainted metal panels stamped in a geometric design, making this a shimmering, if abandoned, town sentinel.
