This exotic, sand-colored complex is the international headquarters for the Arabian Horse Association, Registry and Trust. The $6 million center includes offices, a library, an art gallery, a film room, and an archives in a Middle East–influenced structure with rich interior appointments. Ogee arches decorated with subtly colored tiles frame terraces and a reflecting pool on a linear axis. The same decorative tiles are inset into floors in a central, glass-roofed atrium supported by ogee arches with flat-roofed square bays, offering spectacular mountain views from the west-sloping hillside.
