Although this five-bay brick building with a gable roof, cupola, and arched central entrance is one of the postal service's ubiquitous Colonial Revival designs in the 1930s, its WPA mural, County Saw Mill, painted in 1941 by Andrée Reullen of Pennsylvania has a strong local flavor. Instead of portraying an idealized rural setting, the artist depicts an area sawmill operated by identifiable local workers.
