When WRVA radio built this studio and office, the revitalization of Church Hill was gathering momentum. Johnson, an internationally known architect, was commissioned because of the prominence of the site and the sensitivity needed to accommodate the historic neighborhood adjacent. This unobtrusive building may seem out of place, but it is a fascinating and quirky artifact that provides interest on the skyline. It is currently empty, its future uncertain.
