The one-story modern house is built of board-and-batten construction. A central wing, capped by a low-pitched gable roof with exposed beams, is flanked by a closed bedroom wing to one side and a spatially more open carport wing to the other. Exhibiting similar composition and materials is the former J. Ray Stevens House of c. 1958 at 317 West Street.
