The brick, stone, and slate neo-Tudor house of the president of the Fisher Body Corporation and vice president of General Motors and his wife, Lura, is a massive building with a Tudor-arched limestone entrance. Lavish interior finishings include Waterford crystal chandeliers, European stained glass, and Pewabic tile. Landscaped by Fleming, the grounds contain a conservatory and an indoor swimming pool and are connected to the Alfred Fisher House, erected in 1925 at 1791 Balmoral Drive to the designs of Marr.
