A Federal/Greek Revival dwelling is employed here as a jail. The brick building is two stories high with the suggestion of piers at each corner and the gabled ends articulated as classical pediments. The entrance is strongly treated with substantial pilasters and a double-layered entablature with cornice. The main cornice is also quite wide, and a pattern of bricks suggests classical dentils. The building has recently been restored.
