The street elevation of this two-story Colonial Revival house is entirely correct; there is a balanced arrangement of windows and entrance with a broken pediment above. But the “real” entrance to the side (for the automobile) is something else. Here is a truly grand, overscaled entrance: two piers with oddly piled-up moldings support a pediment, and the entrance is recessed with a small second-floor balcony above.
