This house is an Italianate villa designed on a side-hall plan; its cupola exhibits a rather steeply pitched hipped roof. A “new,” sophisticatedly detailed Colonial Revival porch (c. 1910) has been added across the front, and other changes have occurred. The newer porch—distinguished by a thin cornice line, an entablature with dentils, and fluted wood piers—has been successfully worked into the much earlier design.
