Imes (King) Covered Bridge
In this bridge with a gable roof, its builder, J. P. Clark, again employed the Towne lattice truss together with queen posts. The bridge has been moved twice from its original location at Wilkins Ford on the Middle River. In 1887 it was transported to the Imes Crossing of Clanton Creek; in 1977 it was moved to its present location on the eastern edge of Saint Charles.
