Metal fascias in a diamond and oval pattern adorn the wide eaves on this elongated, lowslung station, a harbinger of Modernism. Chocolate brown wire-cut brick with Indiana limestone trim is overshadowed by the red tile hipped roof and ornate roof brackets rising out of pilasters. Eaves overhang from hip-roofed wings on east and west, extending from a central, slightly higher gable with parapeted ends. The well-landscaped and well-preserved building is now converted to municipal use.
