A soaring steeple atop a buttressed corner bell tower distinguishes this red brick Gothic Revival chapel. Rosy, rough-faced stone trims the entrance, centered in the gabled narthex beneath a rose window. Inside, original carved wooden statues, pulpit, baptismal font, and pews survive under a hammerbeam ceiling. The marble angel holding a shell for holy water was sculpted by Elsie Ward Hering, a Denver student of Augustus Saint-Gaudens.
