Designed by the firm of Fairbanks architect Lee S. Linck, the Duckering Building, next door to the Bunnell Building, is similar to it in appearance. An addition to the rear, which in contrast to the many-windowed front of the building uses bold lines and a flat facade, was designed by Ellerbe Alaska, now Design Alaska.
