Clean-cut Neo-Gothic lines and proportions characterize this Indiana limestone church. Above a shallow-arched entrance, a huge, traceried window recessed within a deep lancet dominates the steeply gabled facade. The Mayer Company of Munich fabricated this and two other stained glass windows in 1897 for the congregation's earlier church, which still stands nearby. J. Charles Fulton is generally known for earlier, more robust Romanesque- and Gothicinspired designs, but this accomplished structure shows that the firm could adapt to the more scholastic approach characteristic of the 1930s.
