Designed by a Bristol firm of brothers active in the city from 1926 to 1931, the building has a first story of ashlar masonry below the two upper stories of beige brick. A canted corner is enlivened by a rectangular panel of recessed and projecting bricks and surmounted by a square recessed panel featuring a Masonic emblem carved in low relief. The off-center entrance bay is flanked by storefronts framed by reeded vertical bands topped with Art Deco motifs, and reeded pilasters on the austere upper stories conclude with feather-like similar motifs.
