1906, Barber and Kluttz. 205 W. Main St.

Built for the president of the U.S. Spruce Lumber Company, this square two-story house of honey-colored brick from Pennsylvania is topped by a hipped roof pierced by a large front dormer. A porch wraps three sides of the house and curves in a broad semicircle at the front. Single Ionic columns articulate the curved portion, with coupled Ionic pilasters for the rest of the porch.
