Located at the western end of Jonesville is a handsome dwelling that combines an Italian Villa form with Stick Style decorative trim. Built for a prominent local judge who also served in the Virginia legislature for eight years, it is an L-shaped frame building with a square front tower snugly positioned at the intersection of the two wings. The three-stage tower is capped by a mansard roof clad in pressed metal and flared eaves supported by large thin brackets attached to a board-and-batten frieze. The third stage of the tower is clad in vertical and horizontal weatherboards highlighted with diagonal braces. Stick Style influence is also seen in the decoratively sawn bargeboards and spindle-like porch trim.
