This small but highly decorated Carpenter Gothic one-story frame house is rich with three front gables, two bay windows, and a porch with turned posts and spindle eaves fronted by a later semi-octagonal porch. Roundels, brackets, dentils, and panels trim the eaves, gables, and window surrounds. This house, perhaps more than any other in the area, attests to the availability of relatively inexpensive, mass-produced, machine-cut architectural elements available in the later nineteenth century.
