The four-story Perry Building is an attractive example in Lufkin of the International Style on the brink of midcentury modern. Windows in the upper three floors are linked by recessed panels of glazed green tile to form continuous horizontal bands. Countering the horizontal rush, a central five-story block rises with windows vertically stacked between narrow fins. A cantilevered canopy wraps both street fronts shading the tall first floor.
