Advertised as “a Main Street–style shopping, dining and entertainment destination,” the one-million-square-foot complex is arranged on an axial plan with a long, rectangular park and a fountain as the focus. The end of the main axis is the curved facade of the 18-screen movie theater. Two-story buildings line the streets with facades clad in a variety of faux historical styles. Street trees and on-street parking, supplemented by surface parking lots at the perimeter, give the impression of an early-twentieth-century downtown. One facade, with a curve and a marquee that looks like a 1930s–1940s movie house, is not a theater, but instead encloses several shops. The large theater, an IMAX, is farther down the road.
