The east end of the axis of the Arts District is terminated by the calm gridded facade of the twenty-four-story high-rise that combines office space (national headquarters for 7-Eleven), retail, and sixty residences. The upper left corner of the facade grid is interrupted by a large projecting square illuminated at night with LEDs that change colors. A circular front plaza, bracketed by low retail wings, draws in the view down Flora Street. The building is large enough to fulfill its visual function and adds to the Arts District some of the mixed uses intended in the original master plan.
