This is one of Ford's best designs in the city, a small-scale version of the regional modernism that he made famous on the Trinity University campus ( SA106). The private girls' school consists of a series of low, brick-walled buildings all connected by a series of covered passageways. The use of simple materials like Mexican brick and standing-seam metal roofs helps the complex blend into the landscape, which, like that of Trinity, benefits from the placement of mature trees that help to shade the school buildings from the brutal Texas sun. Access to the school is possible only by appointment.
