A prolific theater architect and drive-in theater pioneer, Corgan, of Dallas, designed this movie house with a two-story corner entrance coupled with lesser-scaled shops along the side street. Of note are the theater's vertical sign and its diagonally scored terrazzo sidewalks. A vestige of Kingsville's post–World War II prosperity, it closed due to downtown's decline, and it is currently used as a religious venue.
