Over time, from two stucco-surfaced rubble masonry buildings of four stories, this mill was expanded and linked by harmonious additions to its present length. Granite trim relieves the textureless stucco surface as windowsills and quoining for the projecting tower. The survival of the Greek Revival belfry, with classical balustrades, pilasters, and pediments in four directions, is rare among industrial structures. The plant now produces pharmaceuticals.
