1962. PA 653 at Barron Church Rd. (PA 3033), 1 mile southeast of Barronvale

Spread over three hundred acres of former farm land, Scottyland is a sea of campers and RVs parked year-round. Two nineteenth-century buildings remain on the site: a log maple sugar house and a barn, where the wood-pinned construction is evident despite the modernizations. The RV park, founded in 1962, includes complete hook-ups for the vehicles; recreation center; pool; skating rink; a chapel built in 1966; a bass-stocked, man-made lake; and Laurel Hill Creek. Of the seven hundred sites, about four hundred are used year-round.
