Architect Edward N. Unruh (1852–1926) designed over forty buildings in Bradford, including many homes. For this post office, he created an understated brick building with six Ionic columns fronting its round-arched entrance. Oversized stone-trimmed windows, corner quoins, and a roof parapet and balustrade complete the ornamentation. The interior, with an open lobby and stairway, has been converted to offices for a high-tech firm.
