The designer of this two-and-a-half-story Queen Anne dwelling seems to have first established a simple rectangular volume for his building and then enriched it with projections into the body of the structure, outward projections of bays and porches, and then a constant embellishment of its surfaces. The triumph of the house is the curved floral pattern realized in an appliqué of sawed wood within its principal gable end.
