As seen from the street, the Findley house presents a classic two-story facade with a central entrance, as well as a balanced composition of windows on each side of the door. However, all of the detailing is late Italianate: a bracketed entablature and cornice for the gabled roof, round-headed windows, and an entrance porch with splayed sides that is topped by a small balustrade. To the rear is a two-story wing (the whole building has a T-shaped plan) with a two-story arched porch on one side.
