The visual drawing card for this two-story brick commercial block is the patterning of the headers of the second-floor windows, and then above, the elaboration of its entablature, cornice, and false pediment. Each of the stone headers of the second-floor windows is angled and terminates in a bold keystone; these headers are joined to form a wavy line across the facade. In the late 1980s the entablature and cornice were painted in bright contrasting colors.
