This large-scaled Italianate house has characteristics of the Eastlake in many of its details. The front of the house centers on a central two-story splayed bay, on each side of which are first-floor porches with elongated paired columns. As one often encounters in these late Italianate houses, the short, steep roof suggests a mansard roof. Visible behind the house is a large barn with cupola, designed entirely in the Eastlake style.
