A wide, seemingly “well-fed” bay tower with a bell-shaped roof is clearly visible as one walks up toward the house. There is a stylistic mixture here: a Queen Anne format is held in check through Colonial Revival simplicity and classical details. The porches on each side of the corner bay tower have Tuscan columns, and there are Palladian windows on the third-floor gable ends.
