This two-story building is of a somewhat rusticated Beaux-Arts design realized in brick and stone. The corner entrance with its stubby granite columns is at a 45-degree angle to the rear of the building and succeeds in visually commanding this important junction of two major downtown streets. Large glass areas were introduced on both floors of the building between the supporting piers.
