The feature that immediately captures one's attention on the street facade of this two-story commercial building on a raised basement is the central, colored terracotta decoration. The design of the ornamentation is Sullivanesque, but modified and more literally within the Gustav Stickley-Craftsman tradition. The curvilinear Sullivanesque patterns read as the foliage of a pair of trees. To the sides of the main terracotta panels are two small vertical shieldlike motifs with the company's initials on them.
